Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AceStudy ("the Service"), operated by [COMPANY DETAILS: legal name, address, registration number, country]. By creating an account or purchasing access, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
AceStudy provides digital study materials for university courses: theory notes, practice questions and mock exams, accessed through a web application. AceStudy is an independent study resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Tilburg University, and our materials are original works — they are not official course materials.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use purchased content. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Accounts are personal: sharing an account, or purchased access, with other people is not permitted and may lead to suspension without refund.
3. Purchases and billing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle provides customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns. Prices are shown at checkout and may include VAT depending on your location.
4. License
A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the purchased course content through the Service. You may not copy, download, redistribute, resell, publish or share the content, in whole or in part.
5. Intellectual property
All content in the Service is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any content to you.
6. No guarantee of results
We work hard to make our materials accurate and useful, but we do not guarantee any exam result, grade, or academic outcome. The Service is a study aid, not a substitute for your course.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, improve or modify the Service and its content at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Purchased access remains valid for the period stated at purchase.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms — in particular account sharing or content redistribution. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected purchase in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [COMPANY DETAILS: country]. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of [COMPANY DETAILS: jurisdiction], unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
