This policy explains how AceStudy ("we"), operated by [COMPANY DETAILS: legal name, address, country], processes your personal data. We are the data controller for the data described below.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: your email address and hashed password, when you register.
• Study progress: your answers, scores and progress inside the study apps, linked to your account.
• Purchase data:which products you own. Payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record — we never see your full payment details. Paddle's processing is described in Paddle's own privacy policy.
• Waitlist: your email address, if you sign up for launch updates.

2. Why we process it

• To provide the Service you purchased (contract performance).
• To save your study progress (contract performance).
• To send the launch email you asked for on the waitlist (consent — withdraw any time).
• To comply with tax and accounting law (legal obligation).

3. Where your data lives

Account and study data are stored with Supabase in a European Union region. Our website is hosted by Vercel. Payment data is handled by Paddle. These providers act as our processors (or, for Paddle, as an independent controller for payment processing).

4. Retention

We keep account and progress data for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data without undue delay, except where law requires us to keep records (e.g. purchase records for tax purposes).

5. Your rights (GDPR)

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict processing. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any right, email us at the address below.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: they keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
